Bollywood actress Meenakshi Thapar beheaded

April 18, 2012, MUMBAI - Bollywood actress Meenakshi Thapar was kidnapped by two of her co-stars, who then beheaded her after extorting money from her family.

Thapar, 26, appeared in "404" - an Indian horror film in 2011, where she met her alleged killers, actors Amit Jaiswal and Preeti Surin.

Jaiswal and Surin invited Thapar on a vacation with them in the Nepal border town of Gorakhpur, where they held her hostage, and demanded a ransom of 1,500,000 Rupees from Thapar's parents - stating they would force her to make pornographic movies if the randsom was not paid.

Thapar's mother deposited some of the ransom money into her daughter's bank account, but the actress was beheaded and her body was dumped in two separate places.

Jaiswal and Surin were apprehended by police, and they confessed to the murder.
