Preity Zinta: Humiliated at Cannes

DWW last week told you about Preity Zinta at the Cannes Film Festival, well there is apparently more to this story.

Sources report that Preity, escorted by Karan Johar , looked stunning and glamorous as she made a grand entrance on the second day of the Cannes film festival, but Preity and Johar got the shock of their lives when they were refused entry through main door in Martinez hotel, where they have been staying.

They were informed that the main enterance was reserved for celebrities only. Visibly upset, Johar and Preity tried convincing security that they were celebrities from India, but the security refused to believe them, and asked them to use the side door, to which they eventually obliged.

Preity, escorted by Caroline Gruosi-Scheufele, the president of jewellery giant Chopard, attended two premieres: 'The Wind That Shakes The Barley' and 'Paris, Je T'aime'.

Preity is also promoting her forthcoming Bollywood film, 'Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna' , with Johar at the Cannes.
